Target Ovarian Cancer research has found that a shocking 40 per cent of women in the UK mistakenly believe that cervical screening checks for ovarian cancer

Please help us bust this myth for good  

Ask your elected representative to support our campaign for clearer public information about cervical screening – so that no one’s left with the impression that it checks for ovarian cancer. 

The cervical screening programme is invaluable and we don't want to see anyone discouraged from participating in it.  However, to achieve better outcomes for patients with ovarian and other gynaecological cancers, we should grasp the opportunity that cervical screening represents, to educate women about the symptoms to watch out for.  

Some politicians have already lent their names to our campaign for improved public messaging around cervical screening and ovarian cancer.   But we need even more to show their support.
